Semi Senior Accountant
Location: Hertford
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 (DOE)

An established and growing accountancy practice is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join their friendly and dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who is either part-qualified or fully qualified AAT and looking to progress their career within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Assisting with management accounts
• Liaising with clients to resolve queries and provide support
• Supporting junior team members where appropriate
• Assisting with tax computations and returns

Requirements

• AAT part-qualified or fully qualified
• MUST have previous experience within a UK accountancy practice, please note this is essential
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
