A well-established accountancy practice based in central Birmingham is looking to bring in an experienced Accountant to support its growing client base.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with clients and taking ownership of accounts from start to finish. The position offers a good mix of management reporting, statutory work, and regular client interaction.

What you’ll be doing:

• Preparing monthly and quarterly Management Accounts for a range of clients
• Producing Statutory Accounts in line with current regulations
• Putting together clear and useful reporting packs
• Speaking directly with clients to gather information, answer queries, and explain figures in a straightforward way
• Supporting month-end and year-end processes, helping to keep everything running smoothly

What they’re looking for:

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or part-qualified
• Around 3–5 years’ experience working within an accountancy practice
• Confident preparing both Management and Statutory Accounts independently
• Comfortable dealing with clients and building relationships
• Organised, reliable, and able to manage deadlines
