Puro Accountancy are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Assistant to join an established, independent firm in their Escrick office. This is an exciting opportunity with the chance to take on new challenges and progress your career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and finalising end of year accounts for sole traders, start ups and small/medium sized limited companies.
• VAT returns.
• Tax returns.
• Supporting with Payroll duties when needed
• Use QuickBooks, Xero and Sage to maintain financial records
• Liaise with HMRC and clients over email and telephone

Requirements:

• AAT level 4 part or qualified.
• 3+ years practice experience.
• Sage 50, QuickBooks, Xero knowledge advantageous.
