Puro Associates are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Manager to join an established, independent firm in their Leeds office. This is an exciting opportunity to work reputable, local company, with the chance to take on new challenges and progress your career.
Responsibilities of an Account Manager:
- Managing a portfolio of clients comprising incorporated businesses, unincorporated businesses and individuals
- Periodic bookkeeping duties
- Preparing management accounts
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Supporting, training and supervising junior members of staff
What we are looking for in our ideal Account Manager:
- AAT qualified (or qualified by experience)
- Experience of working in an accountancy practice
- Knowledge of CCH, Sage and Xero software an advantage
- Good communication, numeracy and literacy skills
- Good timekeeping and an ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work well within a team
- Energetic and self-motivated
- Good IT skills
