Accounts Senior
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Working Pattern: Hybrid available post passing probation
Salary: Up to £40,000
An established and growing accountancy practice in Newcastle is looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join its friendly team. The firm works with a varied portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses, providing accounts, tax and business advisory services.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, including more complex assignments.
- Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders and partnerships, alongside VAT and some outsourcing work.
- Liaise directly with clients to obtain information, resolve queries and maintain strong working relationships.
- Prepare high-quality accounts files for review by managers and directors.
- Work between the office and client sites as required.
Requirements
- AAT Level 4 qualified or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- A proactive, organised and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
