Are you an experienced practice accountant looking to take the next step in your career? My client, a well-established and highly regarded accountancy firm based in Cork, is seeking an Accounts Senior to join their growing team.
About the Role:

As an Accounts Senior, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, preparing financial statements, and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of annual statutory financial statements for a broad portfolio of clients
- Preparing management accounts and providing business advisory support when required
- Assisting with tax computations and liaising with the tax department as needed
- Supervising, reviewing and mentoring junior staff
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Liaising directly with partners and clients on a regular basis
Candidate Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualified (or close to qualification with relevant experience)
- 3+ years' experience working in an accountancy practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of Irish accounting and tax standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision
