Your Role as an Associate / Senior Associate
- Lead and support on a variety of commercial transactions and procurement projects for NHS and public sector clients.
- Advise on complex contractual arrangements, including public/public sector and public/private sector collaborations.
- Guide clients through procurement processes, ensuring compliance and effective partner selection.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to structure innovative commercial agreements, such as outsourcing, AI-driven health solutions, and income-generating NHS projects.
- Engage in business development to grow the team’s reputation in emerging sectors, including AI and digital health.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across corporate, property, employment, and finance departments.
- Mentor junior lawyers, sharing expertise and contributing to the team’s ongoing success.
What We’re Looking for in an Associate / Senior Associate
- 4-8 years PQE with experience advising NHS, public sector, or commercial health clients.
- Strong expertise in commercial contracts and an understanding of public sector procurement (desirable but not essential).
- A commercial mindset, able to provide clear, practical legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm for business development, with a keen interest in promoting innovative legal solutions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Proactive, adaptable, and ambitious, with a drive to excel in commercial law.
