Job Description:
A leading accountancy firm in Kettering is seeking an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to support its smaller SME audits. The successful candidate will have 3+ years’ experience in audit, accounting, and tax, ideally with exposure to SME clients, and is looking for an opportunity to progress their career within a supportive and dynamic firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake and oversee audits from planning through to completion (approximately 50% of workload).
- Prepare accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Prepare self-assessment tax returns
- Manage client queries efficiently and professionally.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in audit/accounting for SME clients.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple engagements.
- Client-focused approach and excellent communication skills.
