Salary – Up to £42k (DOE)
Puro Associates are recruiting for an Audit and Accounts Senior to join a new and fresh accountancy firm with a fast growing team based in their Gateshead office. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experience Audit and Accounts candidate looking to progress their career or a new challenge within a supportive team.
The role would be 40% audit, 40% accounts and 20% tax.

- Primarily based in Durham but flexibility to work within the Gateshead office.
Responsibilities of an Audit and Accounts Senior:
- Preparation of accounts, corporation tax computations, managements accounts and VAT returns.
- Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team.
- Liaising with clients building and maintaining strong professional relationships, resolving any issues and assisting with queries.
- Working within set budgets and tight time scales.
- Monitoring the progression of audit assignments including budget and timeframes.
- Produce a highly detailed audit plan and communicate this with the senior leadership team
What we are looking for in our ideal Audit and Accounts Senior:
- ACCA or ACA Qualified
- At least 2-3 years of experience within Practice.
- Skilled in Audit and accounting
- Experience leading junior members of staff is desirable
