Puro Associates are happy to be supporting one of Scotland’s independent accountancy firms in their search for an Audit and Accounts Senior to join their friendly team on maternity cover.
This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking for a temporary contract within a supportive and friendly firm.

As an Audit and Accounts Senior your responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Preparation of accounts, corporation tax computations, managements accounts and VAT returns.
• Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team.
• Liaising with clients building and maintaining strong professional relationships, resolving any issues and assisting with queries.
• Working within set budgets and tight time scales.
• Monitoring the progression of audit assignments including budget and timeframes.
• Produce a highly detailed audit plan and communicate this with the senior leadership team

What we are looking for in our ideal Audit and Accounts Senior:

• ACCA/ACA/AAT or QBE
• At least 2-3 years of experience within Practice
• Open to Accounts Seniors with no/little Audit experience or Audit Seniors with not much/no accounts experience but ideally candidates experience in both Audit and Accounts.
• Leadership skills
