Our client, a well-established accountancy practice based in Balbriggan, is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of audit and accounting services to a broad range of SME and owner-managed business clients.
Key Responsibilities

• Planning, leading and completing audit assignments from start to finish
• Preparation and review of statutory financial statements
• Managing and supporting junior members of the audit team
• Liaising directly with clients and acting as a key point of contact
• Identifying and resolving audit and accounting issues
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and audit regulations
• Assisting partners and managers with workflow management and deadlines

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice is essential
• Strong audit background with exposure to SME clients
• Part-qualified or qualified (ACA / ACCA or equivalent), or working towards qualification
• Ability to manage assignments with minimal supervision
• Strong technical and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
