Our client, a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Dublin 2, is seeking an ambitious Audit Senior to join their growing team. The RoleAs an Audit Senior, you will lead audit assignments for a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries. You will work closely with managers and partners while mentoring junior team members and contributing to the continued success of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, coordinating and completing audit assignments from start to finish.
- Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process.
- Reviewing financial statements and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
- Identifying and communicating audit findings and recommendations to clients and senior management.
- Supervising, coaching and developing junior members of the audit team.
- Assisting with accounts preparation, corporation tax and other ad hoc assignments as required.
- Ensuring all engagements are delivered on time and to the highest professional standards.
Candidate Requirements
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or finalist with strong audit experience).
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in practice, with significant exposure to audit engagements.
- Strong technical knowledge of Irish auditing and accounting standards.
- Experience managing audit assignments and interacting directly with clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficient in accounting and audit software packages.
