An established and growing accountancy practice in Bury St Edmunds is seeking an experienced and qualified Client Manager to join their friendly and professional team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant with practice experience who is confident managing their own client portfolio and enjoys building strong client relationships.
The successful candidate will play a key role within the office, supporting both clients and staff across a varied workload including accounts preparation, taxation, and client management duties.

The Role:

• Managing your own portfolio of clients
• Supporting the Bury St Edmunds office with workflow planning and staff organisation
• Dealing with client queries and ensuring deadlines are met
• Preparing sole trader, partnership, and limited company accounts
• Preparing personal and corporate tax computations
• Reviewing bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Supporting with ad hoc assignments and projects as required

Requirements:

• ACCA or ICAEW qualified
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of accounts production and taxation
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Highly organised and methodical approach to work
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
• Experience using QuickBooks, Xero, and Dext would be advantageous, although training can be provided
