Clinical Negligence Fee Earner
Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE

A well-established and highly regarded law firm is looking to appoint a Clinical Negligence Fee Earner to join its growing specialist team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor or CILEx Fee Earner with experience in claimant clinical negligence matters who is looking for a role offering high-quality work, genuine career development and a supportive working environment.
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of clinical negligence claims and will be expected to take responsibility for matters from initial instruction through to conclusion.

The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Managing your own caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters.
- Handling cases from initial instruction through to settlement/conclusion.
- Providing high-quality advice and support to clients throughout their claim.
- Conducting investigations and assessing the merits of claims.
- Working with medical experts and other professional advisers where appropriate.
- Preparing correspondence, statements and legal documentation.
- Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring matters progress efficiently.
- Working towards agreed fee-earning and performance targets.
- Contributing to the continued success and development of the wider team.
About You
We are keen to hear from candidates who have:
- Experience handling claimant clinical negligence matters.
- Ideally 1–5 years' PQE, although applications from newly qualified candidates with strong relevant pre-qualification experience will also be considered.
- A qualification as a Solicitor or CILEx Fee Earner.
- The ability to manage a caseload independently and work with a good level of autonomy.
- A proven ability to meet fee-earning or billing targets.
- Strong communication, organisational and client-care skills.
- A proactive and commercially aware approach.
- The confidence and ability to hit the ground running.
