Location: Liverpool (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Benefits

Role Responsibilities of the Clinical Negligence Solicitor:
- Managing a caseload of multi-track clinical negligence claims from initial instruction through to resolution.
- Investigating liability and causation issues and obtaining expert medical evidence.
- Drafting legal documents including Letters of Claim, witness statements, and instructions to counsel.
- Negotiating settlements and representing clients in mediation and other forms of dispute resolution.
- Liaising effectively with clients, experts, counsel, and third parties throughout the claims process.
- Providing clear, empathetic legal advice to clients, often on sensitive and complex issues.
- Ensuring compliance with court deadlines, procedural rules, and internal quality standards.
- Assisting with mentoring junior team members and contributing to knowledge-sharing within the team.
Clinical Negligence Solicitor Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
- Grade B status (typically 4+ years PQE) with strong experience in clinical negligence work.
- Proven track record managing complex, high-value claims independently.
- Strong litigation, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and client care abilities, with sensitivity to client needs.
- Proactive, organised, and capable of working to deadlines under pressure.
- A collaborative team player with a passion for access to justice.
