A forward-thinking and expanding law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to lead its newly established Liverpool office.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious solicitor looking to take the next step in their career by leading the growth of a new office, developing a local client base, and shaping the future of a thriving Commercial Property department.
The Role
You will take ownership of a varied commercial property caseload while playing a key role in establishing and growing the firm's presence in the Liverpool market. Working closely with senior colleagues across the wider business, you'll have the autonomy to build relationships, develop the team, and contribute to the long-term success of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters from instruction through to completion
- Advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, development projects, landlord and tenant matters, and commercial leases
- Drafting and negotiating leases, licences, agreements, and related property documentation
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, agents, developers, and other professional contacts
- Leading the continued growth of the Liverpool Commercial Property team
- Supporting the recruitment, mentoring, and development of future team members
- Driving business development through networking and local market engagement
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple offices on larger transactions
- Delivering exceptional client service while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in Commercial Property
- Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial property matters
- Experience managing complex transactions independently
- Commercially minded with excellent business development skills
- Strong leadership qualities and the ambition to help grow a department
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
