Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer

A well-established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer to join its busy Residential Property team in Macclesfield.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated conveyancer to manage their own caseload within a supportive and professional environment, with strong opportunities for progression.
The Role
You will manage a mixed residential conveyancing caseload with support where required, handling matters from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Handling mortgages, remortgages, and buy-to-let transactions
- Preparing contracts and reviewing title documentation
- Raising and responding to enquiries
- Carrying out searches and reporting to clients on results
- Preparing mortgage reports and completion packs
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
- Managing client expectations and maintaining regular communication
- Building and maintaining relationships with referrers
- Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in line with firm procedures
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing
- Proven experience managing a caseload (with minimal supervision)
- Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process
- Excellent communication and client-care skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Professional, approachable, and commercially aware
