About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Conveyancer or Conveyancing Solicitor to join a well-established and growing law firm based in South Manchester.
This is a key senior appointment within the Residential Property team, offering the opportunity to lead by example, manage a high-quality caseload, mentor junior team members, and play an active role in the continued growth of the department.

You'll work closely with senior management while helping drive efficiencies, strengthen referral relationships, and deliver an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
• Handle freehold, leasehold, new build, shared ownership, remortgage, transfer of equity, and Help to Buy transactions.
• Provide clear, practical legal advice and outstanding client service throughout the transaction.
• Supervise, mentor, and support junior fee earners and support staff.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with estate agents, brokers, and other introducers.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and efficiencies within the department.
• Ensure compliance with SRA regulations, AML requirements, and firm procedures.
• Assist with business development and contribute to the ongoing success of the residential property team.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive.
• Significant experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of residential property law.
• Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues is desirable.
• Excellent client care, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially aware with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Comfortable using case management systems and modern legal technology.
