Puro Associates is working with an innovative and expanding law firm in East London that is looking to grow its conveyancing team with a confident, capable fee earner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a boutique practice where your experience and input will directly contribute to the firm’s ongoing success.
About the Role:
This position is ideal for a conveyancing professional who thrives in a collaborative, low-hierarchy environment. You’ll manage your own caseload from instruction to completion with minimal supervision, providing an excellent client service and ensuring compliance throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently handle a caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Draft and review contracts, conduct title checks, order searches, and liaise with lenders, agents, and other solicitors
- Keep clients regularly updated and provide practical, professional legal advice
- Ensure all transactions progress smoothly and efficiently to completion
- Maintain high standards of compliance and client care
- Optional opportunity to mentor junior support staff (if desired)
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor, Licenced Conveyancer, or experienced Conveyancing Executive
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ fee-earning experience in conveyancing
- Comfortable managing files independently
- Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process from initial instruction to post-completion
- Excellent organisational, communication, and client relationship skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and motivated to work in a flexible, boutique setting
