The Role
The successful candidate will handle a varied Company Commercial caseload, working with businesses across a range of sectors.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing a broad range of company and commercial matters from instruction through to completion.
- Advising businesses and business owners on day-to-day commercial and strategic matters.
- Supporting clients with corporate transactions, restructures and other significant business events.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Providing practical, commercially focused legal advice.
- Managing and developing existing client relationships.
- Working on matters with a high degree of autonomy.
- Identifying opportunities to develop new and existing business.
- Contributing to the continued growth and profile of the commercial team.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm.
About You
We are looking for an ambitious Company Commercial Solicitor with:
- Approximately 2–4 years' PQE, although applications outside this range may be considered for the right candidate.
- Strong experience across a broad range of Company Commercial work.
- Excellent technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
- The ability to manage matters independently from start to finish.
- A proven track record of meeting fee-earning targets.
- Strong client relationship and business development skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial and client-focused approach.
- The confidence to take ownership of an existing caseload while developing new opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is ambitious and commercially minded, with a genuine interest in building long-term relationships with clients and developing their own profile within the market.
