An expanding and forward-thinking law firm is seeking a motivated Corporate Solicitor (NQ–3 PQE) to join its growing Corporate team in Chester.

You will work alongside senior lawyers on a broad range of corporate transactions, with strong supervision and clear opportunities for progression.
The Role
You will advise a diverse client base on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, supporting both day-to-day advisory work and complex transactional projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality legal advice across a broad range of corporate matters
- Drafting and negotiating sale and purchase agreements and related transactional documentation
- Assisting with due diligence processes and management of data rooms
- Supporting clients on shareholder agreements, joint ventures, and investment matters
- Advising on corporate structuring and governance matters
- Assisting with regulatory and compliance issues
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Contributing to business development activities, including networking and client events
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Qualified Solicitor (NQ–3 PQE) with experience in corporate and commercial law
- Experience in corporate transactions, including share and asset sales, reorganisations, buybacks, share schemes, and EOTs
- Strong technical ability with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Highly organised with the ability to manage a varied workload effectively
- Proactive and commercially aware approach
Desirable
- Experience within a leading regional or city firm
- Exposure to business development and networking activities
- Interest in long-term progression within corporate law
