The Opportunity
Puro Associates are working with an established law firm in Bolton that is looking to appoint a Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join its team.
The ideal candidate will have around 2–3 years' PQE and be looking to develop their career within a varied Dispute Resolution practice.
The role offers a broad caseload covering commercial, property and civil disputes, acting for both businesses and individuals. You will have the opportunity to manage your own matters and provide practical, commercially focused advice to clients.
The Role
Your caseload will include areas such as:
- Commercial and contractual disputes
- Shareholder and director disputes
- Partnership disputes
- Landlord and tenant disputes
- Property litigation
- Boundary disputes
- Land Registry and First-tier Tribunal matters
- Commercial debt recovery
- Professional negligence claims
- Breach of contract disputes
- Alternative dispute resolution
- General civil and commercial litigation
You will manage your own caseload, advise clients on strategy and prospects, draft correspondence and legal documents, negotiate settlements and progress matters through litigation where required.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Solicitor status in England & Wales.
- Ideally 2–3 years' PQE within Dispute Resolution / Civil Litigation.
- Experience managing your own caseload.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience across commercial, property or contractual disputes.
- Excellent client-care skills.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- A practical and commercially minded approach.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
