Nottingham | Up to £80,000 + benefits
Puro Associates are currently supporting a highly regarded regional law firm with the appointment of an Employment Solicitor to join their growing team in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an Employment Solicitor looking to join a supportive and established team, with the opportunity to work on a varied caseload and develop strong client relationships.
The role would suit a solicitor with approximately 2–8 years' PQE, although applications from candidates outside of this range will also be considered depending on experience.

The Role
Your caseload is likely to include:
- Employment contracts, policies and procedures
- Disciplinary, grievance and capability matters
- Redundancy and restructuring
- TUPE
- Settlement agreements
- Employment Tribunal claims and litigation
- Unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing
- Restrictive covenants and post-termination disputes
- Day-to-day employment and HR advice
- Supporting clients with more complex employment matters
You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload while also working alongside experienced colleagues on larger and more complex matters. There will also be opportunities to become involved in business development, networking, seminars and client presentations, making this a great role for someone who wants to develop both their technical and commercial skills.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor status with solid Employment Law experience
- Experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
- The ability to manage a varied caseload independently
- A collaborative and positive approach
- An interest in business development and building client relationships
Previous supervisory experience would be advantageous, as would experience presenting to clients or delivering employment law updates/seminars. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is commercially minded, personable and keen to progress their career within a successful and growing Employment team.
