Salary: From £40,000 DOE
An established legal practice is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join its growing Family Law team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to manage a varied caseload of private family matters within a supportive and professional environment. The Role
You will be responsible for handling a broad range of private family law matters from instruction through to conclusion, providing practical, sensitive, and commercially focused advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters
- Advising clients on divorce and separation proceedings
- Handling financial remedy and matrimonial finance matters
- Managing private children law disputes
- Advising on domestic abuse matters and protective injunctions
- Drafting court applications, legal documents, and correspondence
- Conducting negotiations and progressing matters efficiently
- Attending court hearings and client meetings where required
- Delivering exceptional levels of client care
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements
- Managing billing, file progression, and departmental targets
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE in Family Law
- Experience managing a private family law caseload independently
- Strong technical knowledge across a range of family law matters
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Desirable
- Experience dealing with complex financial remedy cases
- Advocacy experience
- Resolution membership or similar accreditation
