About the Role
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy proceedings
- Private Children Act matters
- Domestic abuse matters
- Cohabitation disputes
- Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
- Handle complex financial remedy cases involving business assets, pensions, investment portfolios, and high-value estates.
- Draft court applications, witness statements, consent orders, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct advocacy where appropriate and liaise with Counsel.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through exceptional client care.
- Supervise and mentor junior solicitors, paralegals, and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with SRA regulations and internal quality standards.
- Play an active role in business development, networking, and growing the department.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE in Family Law.
- Strong experience managing privately funded family law matters independently.
- Excellent technical knowledge across divorce, financial remedies, and private children matters.
- Experience handling complex financial disputes is highly desirable.
- Previous supervisory or mentoring experience would be advantageous.
- Strong advocacy, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Commercially minded with an interest in business development.
- Organised, empathetic, and committed to delivering outstanding client service.
