Family Solicitors (Supervisor & Non-Supervisor)

A forward-thinking law firm is seeking two Family Solicitors (one Supervisor and one Non-Supervisor) to join their collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for legal professionals to demonstrate their expertise in managing sensitive and complex family law matters while working in a supportive environment.
The Role
- Provide high-quality client care to vulnerable individuals and families.
- Manage a caseload of family law matters from inception to completion, including:
- Non-molestation orders
- Child Arrangements Orders
- Divorce
- Private children law cases
- Prepare legal documents such as court applications, witness statements, bundles, and briefs for counsel.
- Manage files efficiently using a case management system.
- Participate in client conferences and liaise with counsel.
- Advise clients on legal matters and progress cases with courts and relevant professionals.
- Handle legal aid applications via CCMS and ensure compliance.
- Meet or exceed billing targets and contribute to the firm’s financial objectives.
- Supervisor role: Oversee and support paralegals and administrative team members.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
- For Supervisor role: relevant accreditation/qualification to supervise.
- Prior experience working with Legal Aid and CCMS.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and client care skills.
- Confident using IT systems and legal software.
- Team player with a collaborative approach.
