About the Role
My client is seeking to recruit a Family Solicitor (NQ to mid-level) to join their growing and dynamic team. We are an expanding firm and are keen to hear from energetic, motivated, and client-focused individuals who are committed to delivering an excellent standard of legal service.
This role requires prior Legal Aid experience within family law and offers an opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of family law matters, with a focus on Legal Aid cases.
• Advising clients clearly and effectively on a range of family law issues.
• Preparing and progressing cases from instruction through to resolution.
• Attending court hearings, conferences, and client meetings as required.
• Liaising with clients, counsel, experts, and external agencies.
• Ensuring compliance with Legal Aid Agency requirements and firm procedures.
• Delivering a high standard of client care and maintaining professional relationships.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor (NQ to mid-level PQE).
• Essential: Previous Legal Aid experience in family law.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload effectively and multitask.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to practice.
• Strong drive and determination to exceed client expectations.
