Senior Family Solicitor
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £48,000 – £72,000 DOE + Benefits
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Family Solicitor to join its growing Family Law team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 5+ years' PQE to handle a high-quality caseload of privately funded family matters, with a particular focus on complex financial remedy work. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and play an important role in the continued growth of the department.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of private family law matters while providing exceptional client care and contributing to the strategic development of the team.
Responsibilities
- Managing a broad caseload of private family matters from instruction through to conclusion
- Advising clients on divorce, financial remedy, and complex financial disputes
- Handling private children matters where required
- Representing clients in negotiations and court proceedings
- Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Supervising and mentoring junior solicitors and support staff
- Supporting business development through networking and professional relationship building
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to drive departmental growth
About You
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- Minimum 5 years' PQE in private family law
- Strong experience in complex financial remedy matters
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is advantageous
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Commercially aware with an interest in business development
- Able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team
