Family Solicitor (5+ Years' PQE)

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE to join a well-established and growing Family Law team. This role offers the chance to manage a varied caseload of privately funded family matters while working within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The Role
The successful candidate will manage a broad caseload of family law matters, including:

  • Divorce and dissolution proceedings.
  • Financial remedy applications and matrimonial finance matters.
  • Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.
  • Cohabitation disputes.
  • Private children matters.
  • Providing clear, practical and empathetic legal advice to private clients.
  • Managing cases from instruction through to conclusion.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the wider team on complex matters where required.
  • Supporting business development activities and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Assisting with the supervision and development of junior team members where appropriate.

Candidate RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' PQE in family law.
  • Strong technical knowledge across divorce, financial remedies and private children work.
  • Experience managing a busy caseload of privately funded matters independently.
  • Excellent client care and communication skills.
  • A proactive and organised approach to case management.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Resolution Accreditation (essential), with Advanced Resolution or Law Society Accreditation desirable.
  • Previous business development experience would be advantageous.
