The Opportunity
Puro Associates are working with an established legal practice in Liverpool that is looking to strengthen its Housing Disrepair team.
They are looking for an experienced Housing Disrepair Solicitor, Fee Earner or Paralegal who has a strong background handling their own caseload of pre- and post-litigated claims.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload from instruction through to settlement, including:
- Managing pre- and post-litigated Housing Disrepair claims.
- Handling your own caseload with a high level of autonomy.
- Dealing with complex Housing Conditions matters.
- Drafting and dealing with interlocutory applications.
- Liaising with Counsel and providing instructions where required.
- Handling small claims, Fast Track and Multi-Track matters.
- Negotiating settlements and progressing claims effectively.
- Providing a high level of client care throughout the life of each case.
- Working towards agreed targets and maintaining strong billing performance.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous Housing Disrepair experience – essential.
- Experience managing a caseload of pre- and post-litigated claims.
- Good knowledge of the CPR and Housing Conditions case law.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and telephone skills.
- A target-driven approach while maintaining excellent client care.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Personal Injury experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
