Immigration Solicitor
Location: East London or Central London
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client, a well-established and growing law firm with an excellent reputation in immigration law, is looking to recruit an experienced Immigration Solicitor to join their busy team based in either East London or Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys managing a varied caseload, delivering exceptional client care, and working within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload of immigration matters from instruction through to completion.
  • Advise clients on a broad range of personal and business immigration matters, including:
    • Skilled Worker and Sponsor Licence applications
    • Family, spouse and partner visas
    • Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR)
    • British Citizenship and Naturalisation
    • Student and Visitor visas
    • Human Rights applications
    • Asylum matters, appeals and administrative reviews (where applicable)
  • Prepare applications, legal representations and supporting documentation.
  • Liaise with the Home Office, Tribunals, Counsel and third parties.
  • Provide outstanding client care and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure files are managed efficiently and remain compliant with SRA and firm procedures.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and success of the department through business development and networking where appropriate.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with at least 3 years' PQE in immigration law.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Immigration Rules and current legislation.
  • Experience managing a varied caseload independently.
  • Excellent drafting, communication and client care skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing competing deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • IAAS accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential.
