- Judgments and enforcement
- Landlord and tenant disputes
- Neighbour disputes
- Construction disputes
- Contentious probate
- ToLATA (Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act matters)
- Company restoration
- Insolvency proceedings
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters from instruction through to resolution.
- Provide clear, practical and strategic legal advice to clients.
- Draft pleadings, correspondence, witness statements and settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal research and prepare court documentation.
- Attend court hearings, mediations and settlement negotiations where required.
- Accurately record all time, both chargeable and non-chargeable, in accordance with firm procedures.
- Ensure files are maintained in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Maintain high standards of client care and communication throughout each matter.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and networking opportunities where appropriate.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 4 years’ PQE as a Litigation Solicitor.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and work effectively to deadlines.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in civil litigation.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed fee targets.
- Excellent client care skills with an empathetic and professional approach.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated and solution-focused.
- A cooperative and supportive approach to working with colleagues across the firm.
