Puro Associates are delighted to be working with a well-established andhighly regarded Manchester-based law firm who are looking to recruit an NQ Personal Injury Solicitor to join their thriving team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an NQ Personal Injury Solicitor seeking to develop their career within a supportive, forward-thinking environment. You will handle a genuine, high-quality caseload with non-CMC sources, ensuring you only deal with real cases from start to finish. Tenacity, enthusiasm, and the drive to achieve the best results for clients are as important as your qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of Personal Injury claims (pre- and post-litigation) from cradle to grave.
- Conducting legal research and advising clients with confidence.
- Drafting legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, and particulars of claim.
- Negotiating settlements and, where required, representing clients at hearings.
- Driving cases forward to litigation where appropriate, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
- Collaborating with colleagues in a supportive, target-driven environment.
Person Specification
- NQ Personal Injury Solicitor or trainee with at least 6 months’ PI experience.
- Strong client care skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with client inception, risk assessments, and file setup.
- Exposure to litigation, including instructing experts, analysing reports, and drafting schedules of loss.
- Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules, with the ability to run litigated files.
- Proclaim case management system experience is an advantage.
- Driven, commercially minded, and proactive.
Salary & Benefits
- Starting salary of £36,000 plus a generous monthly commission scheme.
- Hybrid working based from the firm’s central Manchester office.

- Standard hours: 8:30am–5:30pm (Mon–Thu) and 8:30am–5:00pm (Fri).
