We’re partnering with a growing firm looking to hire a Manager or Senior Manager into their expanding Outsourced FD team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of SME clients, lead relationships, and oversee the delivery of tech-enabled finance solutions.
Key responsibilities:

• Own and manage a portfolio of SME clients as the main point of contact.
• Oversee monthly finance outputs (management accounts, VAT, reconciliations, cash flow, MI).
• Lead client onboarding and ongoing engagement.
• Coordinate year-end accounts and corporation tax processes.
• Ensure accurate delivery using cloud accounting tools.
• Identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team.
• Maintain workflow quality, deadlines, and client satisfaction.
• Support continuous improvement of processes and reporting.

About you:

• Experience managing SME clients in practice or outsourced finance.
• Strong technical knowledge (month-end, VAT, statutory accounts).
• Confident leading client relationships and meetings.
• Proven team leadership or mentoring experience.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Experience with tools such as Xero, Fathom, or Dext.
