About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Qualified Accountant to join our growing team in Cork. This role is ideally suited to someone with prior experience in an accountancy practice, particularly working with audit-exempt clients. You will gain broad exposure to a diverse portfolio of SMEs and owner-managed businesses.
Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements for audit-exempt companies
• Management accounts preparation and analysis
• Preparation and submission of VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns
• Assisting with corporation and income tax computations
• Liaising directly with clients to support their accounting needs
• Supporting senior staff and partners on ad hoc assignments

Requirements

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CPA or equivalent)
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice is essential
• Strong knowledge of audit-exempt financial reporting requirements
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication and client-facing abilities
