Payroll Administrator / Bookkeeper
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

A reputable and expanding accountancy practice based in Stratford-upon-Avon is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator / Bookkeeper to join their professional and friendly team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for a range of clients
- Ensuring full compliance with HMRC legislation, including RTI submissions and auto-enrolment requirements
- Preparing payslips, P45s, P60s and managing payroll-related queries
- Performing bookkeeping duties, including posting transactions and completing bank reconciliations
- Assisting with VAT returns and supporting the wider accounts team as required
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for all clients
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a payroll and/or bookkeeping role, ideally within an accountancy practice
- Strong working knowledge of payroll processes and current HMRC regulations
- Proficiency with payroll and accounting software (experience with BrightPay, Xero or Sage desirable)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
