Payroll Administrator
Location: Peterborough

Puro Associates are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing accountancy firm in their search for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team on either a part time or full time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive firm in a varied, client-facing role within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients (weekly and monthly) using Sage Payroll
  • Liaise with clients to obtain payroll information and provide auto-enrolment support
  • Handle payroll-related payments and bank submissions
  • Support the Head of Payroll Services with day-to-day operations
  • Assist with bookkeeping duties using Xero & Sage 50

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years’ payroll experience (experience working in an accountancy practice is desired but not essential)
  • Strong end-to-end payroll processing knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Experience using Sage Payroll
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
