NQ Private Client Solicitor Role
Location: East London
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Job Type: Permanent
A respected and long-established East London law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and personable solicitor looking to develop their career within a well-rounded and supportive environment.
The Role:This position offers the chance to handle a broad and interesting caseload with a focus on providing high-quality legal services to a loyal client base. The successful candidate will take ownership of files and provide advice and guidance across a variety of private client matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling the full estate administration process, including both probate and intestacy cases
- Preparing and submitting inheritance tax returns and applications for grants of representation
- Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (both Property & Financial Affairs and Health & Welfare)
- Advising on and managing Court of Protection and deputyship matters
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, managing sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism
- Liaising with third parties including financial institutions, HMRC, and other legal professionals
- Staying up to date with relevant legislation and applying best practices

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience in a similar Private Client role
- A strong working knowledge of estate planning, tax, and probate law
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Strong organisational and case management abilities
- A proactive and compassionate approach when dealing with clients and sensitive issues
