Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied Private Client caseload from instruction through to completion with minimal supervision.
- Advising clients on and drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), Trusts, and Deputyship Applications.
- Handling Probate and Estate Administration matters, including both testate and intestate estates.
- Providing clear, practical legal advice tailored to clients' individual circumstances.
- Preparing legal documents and maintaining accurate records using the firm's case management system.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and other third parties.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the Private Client department.

The PersonThe successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Solicitor status (NQ+ PQE considered depending on experience).
- Experience managing a Private Client caseload independently.
- Strong knowledge of Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, LPAs, Trusts, and Court of Protection matters.
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and professional approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Competent IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office and case management systems.
