Residential Conveyancer
Location: Fully Remote or Hybrid
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £40,000 + Bonus
A well-established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy property department.
This opportunity is ideal for a conveyancer who enjoys managing their own caseload and delivering excellent client service, without the additional responsibilities of team management, business development, or extensive administrative work.
The firm offers a highly flexible working environment, with fully remote and hybrid options available, alongside dedicated support to enable fee earners to focus on progressing transactions efficiently.
The Role
You will manage a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, supported by an experienced central support function responsible for administrative and post-completion processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and remortgages
- Reviewing title documentation, contracts, searches, and enquiries
- Reporting to clients and lenders
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and third parties
- Ensuring files progress efficiently and within agreed timescales
- Maintaining high levels of client care and communication
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal procedures
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently
- Strong technical knowledge of the conveyancing process
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and priorities effectively
- Strong client care skills
- Ability to work autonomously while remaining part of a wider team
