The Opportunity
Puro Associates are working with a well-established law firm that is looking to expand its Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Conveyancer to join a growing practice where you’ll manage your own caseload, work closely with clients and agents, and play a key role in maintaining the firm’s reputation for exceptional service.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Running your own caseload: Handling a variety of residential property matters including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, leasehold and freehold transactions, and new build work.
- End-to-end management: Taking responsibility from instruction through to completion, including drafting and reviewing documents, exchanging contracts, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Client care: Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing clear updates and guidance throughout the process while managing expectations.
- Team contribution: Supporting junior team members, allocating tasks where appropriate, and helping maintain high professional standards across the department.
- Compliance: Ensuring all work is completed in line with regulatory, legal, and anti-money laundering requirements.
- Problem solving: Proactively addressing any issues that arise and escalating matters where necessary.
- Relationship building: Maintaining strong links with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties to support smooth transactions and future referrals.
- Business development: Assisting with the growth of the firm’s profile by delivering excellent client service and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience handling a broad residential conveyancing caseload.
- Ability to manage matters independently with strong organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach to risk management and compliance.
- Desire to contribute to the development of junior colleagues and the wider team.
