A well-established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive to join its Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a property lawyer with experience in both commercial and residential property to manage a varied caseload while working within a supportive and collaborative environment that offers genuine career progression.
The Role
You will manage a broad caseload of commercial and residential property matters, acting for a wide range of clients including landlords, tenants, developers, investors, and private individuals.
Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property transactions
- Handling acquisitions, disposals, sales, purchases, transfers, remortgages, and leasehold matters
- Drafting and negotiating leases, tenancy agreements, and other property documentation
- Advising clients on landlord and tenant matters
- Conducting due diligence and reviewing title documentation
- Liaising with clients, lenders, agents, and third parties throughout transactions
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements
- Maintaining excellent client relationships and delivering exceptional client care
- Using case management systems and digital conveyancing platforms to progress matters efficiently
About You
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive
- Minimum 3 years' PQE in commercial and/or residential property
- Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant law
- Experience managing a varied property caseload independently
- Familiarity with legal case management systems and Land Registry processes
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Commercially minded and client-focused
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a busy team
