Job Title: Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner
Location: Braintree, Brighton, Chelmsford or Hornchurch (Office-Based)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: From £45,000 + performance-related bonus (DOE)
The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive (3+ PQE) to join a well-established multi-office firm.
You will manage your own busy residential conveyancing caseload, handling approximately 25–35 new instructions per month, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- New build transactions
- Files from instruction through to post-completion
You will work within a supportive and collaborative team while maintaining responsibility for your own matters.
About You
- 3+ years’ experience in residential conveyancing
- Confident managing a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Organised, proactive and commercially aware
- Interested in building relationships with local agents and introducers
