Personal Injury Litigator / Solicitor – RTA Claims

Salary: From £37,000 per year

About the Role
Are you an experienced Personal Injury Litigator or Qualified Solicitor looking to take the next step in your legal career?
We are seeking a motivated and skilled litigator to join our growing team, specialising in Road Traffic Accident (RTA) and Personal Injury claims. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where your litigation expertise and case management skills will be highly valued.
You will manage your own caseload of litigated matters, progressing cases from instruction through to settlement or trial while delivering excellent client service throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of litigated RTA and Personal Injury matters from inception to settlement or trial
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements and court documents
- Preparing trial bundles and supporting case preparation
- Negotiating settlements with insurers and third parties
- Liaising with counsel, clients, medical experts, insurers and other parties
- Ensuring cases progress efficiently and in line with internal procedures and service level agreements
- Delivering a proactive and client-focused approach to litigation
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 year’s experience handling litigated RTA and/or Personal Injury claims
- Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and litigation process
- Confident managing fast-track cases independently (multi-track experience desirable)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- A proactive and results-driven team player
- Qualified Solicitor or experienced non-qualified fee earner
