RTA Solicitor / Litigation Executive
Location: Manchester
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 DOE + Bonus
A growing claimant law firm is seeking an experienced RTA Solicitor or Litigation Executive to join its expanding Personal Injury team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated fee earner looking to join a supportive and ambitious firm where they can play a key role in the continued growth of the department.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload of pre-litigated and litigated personal injury matters, with a particular focus on Road Traffic Accident claims, while also gaining exposure to Employer's Liability and Public Liability cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of pre-litigated and litigated personal injury claims
- Handling RTA matters from instruction through to settlement or trial
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, schedules, and court documentation
- Liaising with clients, counsel, experts, insurers, and third parties
- Preparing court bundles and assisting with trial preparation
- Conducting legal research and advising on case strategy
- Maintaining accurate file management and case progression
- Delivering excellent standards of client care
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Solicitor, Litigation Executive, Fee Earner, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1-3 years' experience handling personal injury matters
- Strong experience in RTA litigation
- Good understanding of CPR and litigation procedures
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage a caseload independently
Desirable
- Experience handling EL and PL matters
- Experience using case management systems
- Law degree or equivalent legal qualification
