About Us

The Role
We are looking for a Semi-Senior Accountant to join our team and take ownership of a portfolio of clients, primarily within the medical profession. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently while still being part of a collaborative and personable team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own portfolio of clients, mainly medical professionals
- Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Producing personal and corporate tax returns
- Handling VAT returns and bookkeeping where required
- Liaising directly with clients and building strong, long-term relationships
- Providing general accounting and tax advice
Requirements
- Previous experience in a practice environment, ideally 3+ years in UK Practice
- Strong working knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance
- Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a small team environment
- AAT/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified or qualified by experience (QBE)
