A rapidly growing accountancy practice in Huddersfield is looking to recruit a Semi-Senior Accountant to join its friendly team of five. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with practice experience who is confident managing client relationships and is looking to join a supportive firm with excellent flexibility and genuine opportunities for progression.

The Role

• Prepare accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.
• Assist with tax and VAT returns.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact.
• Liaise with clients to resolve queries and provide support.
• Work independently while managing deadlines and delivering a high standard of service.
• Support the continued growth of the practice.

About You

• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
• AAT Qualified, QBE, no study support offered. 
• Confident communicating directly with clients.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive and positive approach with a willingness to develop.
