An established accountancy firm is seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join its team. The role offers exposure to a broad range of accounting and compliance work and is suitable for a part-qualified professional with experience in practice.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of year-end and management accounts
• Support the completion of personal and corporate tax returns
• Prepare VAT returns and assist with bookkeeping tasks
• Liaise with clients and respond to routine queries
• Ensure work is completed accurately and to deadline
• Support and review work completed by junior team members
• Maintain compliance with accounting and regulatory standards

Requirements:

• Part-qualified ACA or ACCA
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
