What You’ll Be Doing as an Accounts Senior:
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
- Managing bookkeeping tasks and preparing monthly/quarterly VAT returns
- Compiling management accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Building strong client relationships and handling queries efficiently
- Assisting in training and mentoring junior team members
- Supporting managers with ad-hoc accounting tasks
What We’re Looking For in an Accounts Senior:
- AAT/ ACCA/ ACA qualified.
- At least 6 years of experience in an accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
- Experience with accounting software such as CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or Alphatax (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent client relationship skills and a proactive work ethic
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
