Puro Associates are currently seeking an experienced either a Semi Senior or Senior Accountant to join an established accountancy team. Responsibilities:

• Managing your own portfolio of clients with a turnover up to £4 million
• Preparing and filing year end accounts under both FRS102 & FRS105
• Preparing corporate tax returns
• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Overseeing bookkeeping & VAT returns
• Managing and mentoring a team of junior accountants, providing guidance and support where necessary
• Ensuring that all work is completed accurately and to a high standard within strict deadlines
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and identifying opportunities for business development

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS UK ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE EXPEREINCE (Please note that working in a private company is not relevant experience for this role & applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered)
• AAT/ACA/ACCA part or fully qualified
• Experience working with a variety of clients
• Strong technical accounting skills, with a good understanding of accounting standards and tax legislation
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
